Burton Firefighters Receive Prestigious Award

On July 18th 2010 just before 4:30pm, the Burton Fire District was summoned to an emergency situation most firefighters hope they will never experience during their career - a child was dying. Burton Engine Company 824, crewed by Firefighters Johnny Wynn and Chris Alewine, responded promptly to the scene arriving in just two minutes.

New Truck Tour Burton 2010

The Burton Fire District Firefighters took their new 2010 Pierce Quantum pumper truck on a tour of the community it will protect during the week of October 25th. The new truck will be utilized to replace aging apparatus as well as maintain appropriate and dependable apparatus reserves. The new fire truck was paid for largely through impact fees generated by development and will protect a largely commercial and industrial area.
